Our Team

In 1975, Dr. Slapnicher purchased a small practice in Hastings, Minnesota. Over a relatively short time, he successfully established Rivertown Eye Clinic as a provider of general optometry, specializing in children’s vision and contact lenses.

While in optometry school, Dr. Slapnicher received clinical honors in Pediatrics & Low Vision and was a member of Student Optometric Service to Humanity. He traveled to remote locations in Guatemala to provide eye care to individuals in need.

Dr. McGree graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry.

Dr. McGree resides in Miesville and enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time at the lake.

Holly has been with Rivertown Eye Care since 2009. She has helped maintain the level of quality and excellence that patients and customers have come to expect. Her goal is to make everyone who walks through the doors feel welcome, comfortable, and inspired!

Since 2004, Angela has been helping customers navigate everything and anything from insurance claims to client care. Angela's primary concern is to ease any worries so that you can enjoy your eye health journey, no matter what it looks like.
